Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated team player to join the PacketWatch Sales Department as a Business Development Representative. The ideal candidate will work to expand our Managed Detection and Response client portfolio by creating quality leads and booking sales appointments. This position will be In-Office to begin and has the opportunity to become hybrid after a 3-month ramp period.

Business Development Representative Requirements

  • Ambitious, self-motivated, focused and organized individual
  • Minimum of 1 year Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Business Development Representative (BDR) experience, preferably B2B selling/setting in technology industry
  • Experience and comfort with cold outreach (cold calling, cold email)
  • Experience and confidence in consultative selling methods and pitching multiple product and service offerings
  • Experience qualifying marketing leads (website, digital ads, webinar, social media, etc.)
  • Experience setting sales calls meetings and handoffs to senior sales executives
  • Ability to work and thrive in a rapidly changing marketplace and industry
  • Embrace team selling and self-development
  • HubSpot CRM experience is a plus
  • ZoomInfo experience is a plus
  • Cybersecurity and/or SaaS selling a plus

Business Development Representative 

Job Responsibilities

  • Building a solid sales pipeline while working alongside sales executives and leadership, channel partners, and the marketing department
  • Meeting set quotas for dials, meetings set, held, and revenue closed (180 dials per day)
  • Performing cold outreach and qualifying marketing leads
  • Leveraging your professional skillset to drive conversations with top-level cybersecurity and IT executives and managers
  • Setting qualified meetings for account executives
  • Leveraging tools like ZoomInfo and HubSpot to record sales activities and prospect
  • Staying up to date on the latest cybersecurity services, tools, and companies in order to provide a consultative and comprehensive selling experience to clients

Base Salary Range for Business Development Representative
